Mohair

Mohair

The fleece of the Angora goat is one of the world’s most beautiful and sustainable natural fibres.  Its exclusive qualities – lustre, resilience and colour reflection - have been key to its success, with South African mohair being globally acknowledged as one of the finest natural fibres money can buy.

Angora Goats thrive in the Karoo, with its combination of hot, dry summers, cold winters and semi-desert vegetation. The goats are shorn twice a year and are not harmed in any way during the process

The added beauty of mohair is that it is a renewable, natural resource, providing a sustainable production chain between animal and human.

Recycled Glass

Recycled Glass

What makes our glass so special is that only 100% recycled glass is used – mainly old cool drink bottles, jars and wine bottles - and that each and every piece is totally handmade and mouth blown by skilled craftsmen who have been trained in the age old art of glassblowing.  People from all corners of Swaziland collect bottles and are paid per kilo for clean glass. Any bottle that catches the local children‘ s attention finds its way into the factory!
